    Floating literally means drifting or floating on water. During a float session, you lie in a specially designed float bath filled with warm water and a large amount of dissolved Epsom salt, also known as magnesium sulphate. The high salt concentration allows the water to support your body naturally.

    During the first few minutes, you may still be very aware of your surroundings. You might think about everything you still need to do that day. You may notice sounds around you or wonder whether you are lying comfortably.

    The water in a float bath contains a high concentration of Epsom salt. This makes the water much denser than ordinary bathwater and allows your body to float easily.

    Do I need to be able to swim? No. You do not need to be a good swimmer to enjoy floating. You lie on your back and the water supports you naturally.

  • How long does a float session last?

    At Relaxing Time, you can choose a full float session of 60, 90 or 120 minutes. Would you like to try floating first because you are not yet sure whether it is right for you?
